A second edition of the Pathfinder roleplaying game is coming. No release date for the second edition has been given, however the reply to the question “Why Now” in the FAQ states “By the time 2019 rolls around, the first edition of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game will have been in print for 10 years, a geologic age in RPG terms.”
My first thought was to crack open my 3rd ed. books but then I thought of pathfinder and maybe that's really the way to go. My question is, Pathfinder is now coming up on 5 years old and while it still seems early in the product life for a 2nd edition - it wouldn't be unheard of.
